Does anybody know how we receive these? I've heard that we have to collect them from our schools but I'm not too sure.
Also, would these be available immediately after we get our results?

Was unaware you received a tangible, physical certificate? I thought it was just a given that you received a hypothetical certificate for completing said units.

It probably depends on the school, but mine sent them out in the mail, and I got it sometime during the week that results were released.

so when we turn up to uni in march or wateva we have to show them this certificte?

No, they have all your scores on their system when you accept the offer. The certificate is because VCE stands for Victorian Certificate of Education which means there should be a physical certificate in there.

I thought it was more of a hypothetical construct - my school doesn't hand them out nor has VCAA given any to previous students I've asked.

Make sure you actually keep your VCE certificates. My sister just had to use it a few months ago when applying for her Pharmacy internship.

I also received my certificate from school lol.

WTF.

Anywho I thought you completed VCE after you did like 16 or something units? I've done way over that. I've been told I've essentially completed what I have to for VCE but I haven't received that!
