Claiming guaranteed entry pathways

I should probably ask these questions before ATARs are released, just in case I need to take care of stuff on the day (as you need to with Chancellor's Scholars Programs).

For now, I'm potentially looking at the following guaranteed entry pathways (I may be looking at some of the others as well, but for the minute these are the ones I'm interested in):

• Master of Clinical Audiology: 96.00+ ATAR and 65%+ GPA guarantees a CSP
• Doctor of Dental Surgery: 99.00+ ATAR and 75%+ GPA guarantees a FFP
• Doctor of Medicine: 99.00+ ATAR and 75%+ GPA guarantees a FFP subject to interview
• Doctor of Optometry: 98.00+ ATAR and 75%+ GPA guarantees a CSP, 96.00+ ATAR and 75%+ GPA guarantees a FFP
• Master of Science: 96.00+ ATAR and 65%+ GPA guarantees a CSP, 94.00+ ATAR and 75%+ GPA guarantees a FFP
• Master of Speech Pathology: 96.00+ ATAR and 65%+ GPA guarantees a CSP

1. Am I allowed to claim more than one of these guaranteed entry pathways?
2. How and when do I go about claiming them?

Hmm...I never knew you had to 'claim' them. As far as I'm aware, you just proceed through the undergraduate course of your choice, and, after your final year, you enroll as per usual into the graduate course of your choice. The perks come automatically. For example, you'll automatically be given a place in your post-grad course you apply for, provided that you meet all the prerequisites (e.g. pass the MMI, exceed the GPA threshold, etc.), without you needing to do anything such as send an email to the University reminding them of your ATAR...

Yeah this correct to my knowledge.

You do need to claim them, but it's not a complicated process. You have to fill out a form before a certain date, so the university can allocate guaranteed places to the students who receive them and then the other places to other applicants.

So am I allowed to claim more than one, and when do I claim them?

A couple of months before when you graduate at the end of your degree. The MDHS doesn't let students hold offers for more than one course for very long because it means other students won't be able to receive their offers. Since you have a guaranteed place in any of the course, I assume they'll only let you take up one guaranteed place.

If I recall correctly, this scheme was first introduced for my 2011 cohort so I'm thinking the first of us have yet to experience what it's like.

I think you can move the interview earlier if you get 99.90+ (before you start your undergraduate course). I can be wrong

If you're a Chancellor student then you get to choose whether you want to take your interview before you start your undergraduate course or after.

I asked this before my ATAR. As you can see, I wasn't counting on this result. XD
