Clearly in ATARS - Will it differ much this year?

Congrats to everyone for your awesome ATARs!  :)

So I didn't study all year and got like 67, the clearly in for my course is like 65, will that change much this year? Will I get into my desired course?

Also if I wanted to transfer to Monash after 1 year, and I didn't meet a certain prerequisite (missed it by 2) I have no chance right? Even though when scaled, it's above?

Thanks in advance!

Courses are here, with 2013 cut-offs!

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/special-features/news-in-education/vce/results-guide

Edit: Yes, the 2013 cut-offs aren't the updated ones. They're the currently available guides. Probably should have made this clearer :P

Those are last years cut-offs "Additionally last year’s selection data has been included as a guide (only) for 2014 selection" (you can also see that it's the same as what's on the VTAC website). The 2013 cut-offs won't be released until offers are actually released (since they're dependent on that). It is possible that the clearly in might shift around, generally previous years give a good guide to how it might fluctuate but not always.

Just a quick question: when it says that there are 25% offers below clearly in... is that the amount of offers below the clearly in, or the chance you have of getting in if you are below the clearly in? I thought it was the former but I'm not sure.
2012 ATAR - 86.75
2013 ATAR - 88.50
2014: BSci (Statistics) at RMIT
2015 - 2017: BCom at UoM

It's the amount of offers.

Quote
The % of offers below the Clearly-in-ATAR represents the percentage of offers made to applicants with an ATAR lower than the Clearly-in.
http://www.vtac.edu.au/pdf/publications/indices/11selectionindex.pdf and etc. which you'll find elsewhere on the VTAC site too

Thank you Laserred. Unfortunately, I'm in the dark now because I don't know how many people applied for the course and thus it is almost pointless for me to know the percentage of offers below the clearly-in.

Quick question, the course i want to get into is Commerce/Economics at Monash and has a clearly in of 92.00. I only got 91.30, what are my chances of getting in?
2012: Methods - 36
2013: English - 36 | Economics - 34| Accounting - 35 | Further Maths - 45 | Physics - 33 |

ATAR: 91.30

Hi,
Commerce in Monash is 90.3 ( Clear - in). Does the clear in mean a guaranteed score or is it a minimum requirement score?
If I achieved 92 will I be able to secure a place in this course? Or does it depend on how many people apply?
thanks

Clearly in as the word suggests is the point from which applicants are "clearly in", that is guaranteed an offer. Keep in mind the clearly in changes from year to year based on demand-generally clearly ins hover around the same ATAR give or take 1 or 2.
Graduated with Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Arts from Monash University in June 2020.

Completing Practical Legal Training (Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice)

Offering 2021 Tutoring in VCE Legal Studies (Awarded as Bialik College's top Legal Studies Student in 2014).

Offered via Zoom or in person across Melbourne.  Message me to discuss. Very limited places available.

With 92 you should definitely get in

I'm not sure if it's something we can guess at how many they'll decide to offer below the clearly in this year, so this is a bit irrelevant and doesn't help you at all. But I think it's interesting anyway.

VTAC actually does publish the numbers of what course has been preferenced and at what position http://www.vtac.edu.au/reports/appstats-ug-2013.html The data is from early November however, I'm guessing the next cycle of data comes after change of preference ends.

I'm guessing if I don't meet the prerequisites I won't have a chance to transfer despite getting HDs?
