My scores are shameful compared to everyone else here, lol.

The standardised score compares the result to how the rest of the state went in the GAT and gives a score that follows the bell curve thing VCAA use (mean of 30, sd of 7).

Great improvements over the years :) congrats!

Haha Thanks. It's a bit of a pain to do the GAT 3 times though.

Because people come here to view the GAT results of others. If you havn't sat the GAT then you shouldn't be posting as it just wastes other peoples time?

He definitely did a 3/4 subject. And probably didn't wag the GAT. Knowing him, it's probably just an attempted at a lighthearted joke.

Although now I'm really curious as to what you get if you wag the GAT. Or if you intentionally write something completely unrelated to the prompt and answer C to every multiple choice.

Are the GAT scores similar to a study score? My teacher was telling me that the score you receive actually has nothing to do with study scores?

not sure... the standardised score sure seems like a study score equivalent type thing, but as far as I know (which isn't much), they count for nothing (well very little). i.e not much to do with your study scores

...unless you're getting a derived exam score etc.

It means a lot! GAT is the most important exam and scoring high means great future. I am very proud of your achievement :)

Written Communication - 40
Science/ Mathematics/ Technology - 45
Humanities/ Arts/ Social Sciences - 42

What makes this funny is that I don't take a single science or math subject (dropped them all last year). Makes me wonder if I chose the right path....

Because I was being serious. People said it was a joke - I looked at it and thought it was a joke - I was awoken by the coordinator after the 3 hours.
