any tips for spesh 3/4?

After much thought i've decided to go ahead and do Spesh 3/4 next year. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for next year/what preparation I should think about doing in the summer holidays...I want to feel prepared when school year starts in 2014 haha

I'm revising all the things I found tough in GMA, such as Extended Response questions, past exam papers, etc. That way I know I have the much needed foundation for specialist.
The spesh book is too daunting for now, as studying it is probably going to result in burn out when the year begins, but you should probably just read over some of it and familiarise yourself with the content

I'm just slowly going through complex numbers and vectors from my textbook. Seeing that they are covered in GMA, i feel it's a nice way to ease into specialist maths.

During transition week in year 11 GMA, we covered Complex Numbers and Vectors - I got my Spec textbook as soon as possible, and went through questions from the chapters that covered these two topics. This way I was prepared for the first section of the course and had less pressure as the course progressed.
If you know what areas your school will be covering first, I suggest you do the same!
