Which game did you guys enjoy the most this year and why ? Personally for me it was GTA 5 because of the open world freedom , the game provided .

It's not a game that came out in 2013, but Fez. It's a pretty clever platformer that's quite fun to explore.

For a game released in 2013, I'd probably pick Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies. It showed a number of improvements over the previous games in the series and the twists in the storyline in the last two cases were pretty amazing. The streamlining of the investigation phase of the game is good because it means less aimless wandering around when you're stuck, but it did mean exploring the game areas was somewhat downplayed compared to the previous games.

The Last of Us. It was purely amazing. The story was like no other in a video game, the graphics and resolution were well ahead of the current next generation console games and it was just ... wow. It was similar to watching AVATAR for the first time purely for the amazement of the picture (not the story that sucked in AVATAR) and it just stays with you for a lifetime.
