Pharmacy or Science?

Hey guys, the change of preference period is just about to close and I am still pretty lost with what I want to do.

I have two options: Bachelor of Pharmacy at Monash or Bachelor of Science at Melb Uni
I would say that I wouldn't mind doing either but if anyone out there has any insight and knowledge about each course - how interesting/fun it is, the advantages and disadvantages etc I'd much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

apparently there is an absolutely shithouse job market for pharmacists and everyone i know whose doing it (2 people LOL) say that you should run far far away from pharmacy. what attracts you to pharmacy though? because if you like drug formulation you could look at monashs pharmaceutical science degree where you can do medicinal chemistry or drug discovery biology or something
otherwise just pick science, more options

Stay away from pharmacy. Search it on this forum and on whirlpool and you will see why. It's not as a rewarding career as it was previously. Times have changed and the big companies are monopolising the industry. The days of owning your own business are over unless you buy into a franchise i.e. Chemist Warehouse. It's too difficult to compete against Chemist Warehouse these days with their ridiculous prices.
