There is a thread asking the same question under "vce and other business" or something like that.
And I went to the lecture!

Haha, I don't even think there are that many people on AN :o

Nope, no questions answered out loud. I figured there were a number of keen beans already :p

Fair enough :D

hahah! YUPP! :P I don't know if I should be shocked or motivated but like I overheard some students who were telling their friends how they finished unit 3. Like wow. but yeah the biology 3&4 cohort does seem quite enthusiastic looking at the number of hands that were raised each time a question was asked :)

Was the TSFX lecture helpful? Did you learn a lot?

It largely depends on how loosely you translate what they mean by 'finished'.

tbh I was expecting them to cover the whole course. It's something that you can do by yourself with a little of bit research. Other than that, I found it really interactive and helpful since the lecturer mentioned quite a few exam tips. But even if you couldn't make it, that's absolutely fine :) As long as you read over the book (making notes along the way) and exploring some exam tips online.. You're not missing out on anything :)

Good Luck!

I remember Stick (the bio master) mentioning that he only completed Chapter 1 during the summer holidays.
Go figure huh? :D

Well,

I guess that does reinforce quality over quantity :P

Hi Bio people
Did Ian make any comments about last year's exam? Just interested in what he said!
Thanks

He did mention a couple of points, such as the pedigree question. But I believe he was inferring to the notion of 'application based questions' in bio, and how the question required a good understanding of the concepts.

Did he mention poorly answered qs, or difficulty, etc?
