It's possible dude. Look at Mao his school was ranked 489th out of 511 schools with a media study score of 24, yet he received a 50 in Chemistry and equally insane scores.

lol. our dux received full scores for methods, if not lost a mark. is that the reason why she received 48? . if so i must be wrong.

deepest apologies, but i still stick with what i believe for now. unless someone pulls out that 50 from my school.
They would have been an outlier. Full marks in SAC's do not get scaled if you score the highest exam mark as well. So if they didn't lose a mark like you say then they would have gotten a 50. Clearly they lost marks and are bullshitting you

lol. or that. hmmph. i guess your right. but if anyone loses bm atm will not get a 50. correct. coming from a weak cohort?

Do you actually know those exam scores for a fact? Or are you just assuming. If she was ranked first in the school and did get those exam marks, there's no possible way that I can see that she wouldn't get a 50.

i've been told that she 'ripped' it, but that doesn't define anything. so i guess you guys are right.

Well coming from a cohort where people are expected to underachieve, someone getting a 40+ is amazing. It's the same at our school last year's dux got 5 scores above 40 (not massively above 40, between 40-44) and got a 98.

Guess it's all relative...

but since everyone has lost sac marks in BM at where i come from, that 50 is ridiculously hard to get right?

Well I'm not too sure, I was under the impression that if you are ranked number 1 at your school and perform flawlessly in the exam you can still get a 50. But it all depends how how many marks you've lost to get number 1. (Number 1 rank with 10 or so marks lost won't get you a 50 unless you are in a good cohort)

Not entirely sure if that's correct, I just do the exams and wait for the score heh

sounds about right. shinny got 88/100 for unit 3 and managed to pull off a 50 coming from a relatively deadly cohort.  lol. good idea. feel to lazy to do anymore prac exams. haha xD

My raw score doesn't matter, SAC raw scores never do. I'm pretty certain I was ranked 1 at MHS, and because of that, my end-SAC mark would have been likely to been full marks.

what score could i get with an overall SAC score of 193/200, if i got an A+ in my exam?
ps. my cohort is pretty average....out of 120 students only 5 or 6 get close to full marks for sacs
