What's this Diagnostic English Language Assessment (DELA) really about? Does it affect me enrolling into a master program after bachelor of science at UoM?
I have achieved a study score of 34 in ESL if that helps.

Thanks  :)

I have two friends did it last year. One got 34 in ESL and one got something between 25 and 30 in English. You do the test, you pass it and you are done with it. It has no effect on Master program nor your Bachelor. It is just a test you need to take so that the uni knows you have sufficient English language skills for academic purpose, but even if you failed it, the worst would happen is you are required to take an English subject as breadth but that is all. And apparently it is incredibly hard to fail DELA.
Good luck!

According to this page, out of 6, if you scored below 3.3, you have to take Academic English (depending on your degree). I am not sure what will be on the test exactly, but given you got 34 in ESL, which is pretty good, you really have nothing to worry about.

Ah that sounds easy I guess. So if I get 3.3 above, u don't need to take the academic English?
