UAC and VTAC offers
« on: January 17, 2014, 04:15:45 pm »
Congrats to everyone who got an offer! I have a quick couple of questions. So I accepted my UAC offer yesterday and deferred the course I want to do at ANU. I got a UoM offer today as well - I suppose I should decline it, but I was wondering if it was possible to defer it as well just in case there was a reason I couldn't go interstate in 2015? By the way, what would even happen if I accepted both? Haha. :P Thanks 8)

I think you can accept both and defer both and decline one or the other later. Whether you're supposed to accept more than one or not, probably not, but http://policy.unimelb.edu.au/MPF1043 doesn't say anything against it, just "1.4. The University does not permit applicants to undertake tertiary study during periods of deferral." which you won't be doing.

Enrolling in two courses at the same time would be a different matter and is probably where you'd run into problems.
