UMAT HELP!

Recently, I've bought MedEntry. It seems useful but I hate the fact you need to access the computer to practise. I was wondering if there were any books I could buy that would cover the same content that MedEntry does or at least a bit similar. Like any books that contain the study guides that MedEntry has or similar questions and resources that are just as useful. Any reply would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Can I also get some valuable tips and advice? Many thanks! :D

You can play around with the medentry website to copy the data into a word document in order to print it out if you're super keen to get hard copies of it.

Have a google, there are a bunch of different ways to avoid text-copy protection on websites

If it's too much effort trying to copy and paste all the questions, try doing an exam or two online. It might be annoying at first, but you get used to it, and you develop the same time management skills to prepare for the exams. At first, I found it tiring to do one exam, but after doing all of them, I felt like I could do 3 in a day :)

Woah, Year 11 UMAT prep?

I mean, yea it might help, but all the guys who get in usually just do it start of Year 12. They say there's no point doing it early, as you may end up forgetting stuff. Also, they say some of the 1/2 Skills you learn in fact helps you during the UMAT, and help develop the necessary skills to tackle it.
The GOAL: Attain a RAW study score of 40+ in all my subjects.

Courses I would like to study in order of preference include: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Biomedicine or Bachelor of Science.

2014: Biology [42]
2015: English Language [??] | Chemistry [??] | Physics [??] | Mathematical Methods (CAS) [??] | Specialist Mathematics [??]

Don't give up your hope just yet. You still have many months to prepare!! Medentry is not 100% the same as the real umat, so if you don't perform well in these papers, it doesn't mean you are going to do badly in the real umat. Some people can do well in the real one without any practice :) Since you already got the package, my recommendation is to read their tips and do a few more drills before moving on to the papers. Find out what you got problems with. Do you draw tables/venn diagram for section 1 questions? Do you have enough time to do the questions? Once you find out the problem(s), work on that. Hard work would pay off. Good luck :)

Hey mate,
To be honest that was my main problem with preparation for the UMAT - too much online stuff!
Not sure if you'd be interested in this? Each book features a full practice exam and is a fraction of the price you'd expect: http://umatease.wordpress.com/essential-books/
Hope that helps! :)
