Help need ASAP! Need to make decision by tonight

Hi everyone,
I received two offers, one from Griffith University (Medicine) and one from Melbourne (Biomedicine). My question is, can I defer the Griffith option, and this year go to Melbourne. Given that it all goes good at Melbourne, I will completely decline Griffith. Is that possible? Will Griffith allow that to happen?
If not, can I still re-apply to Griffith after 1 year of biomedicine, with average GPA but with the ATAR that was (and still will be) satisfactory to gain entry?
Thanks everyone! I need to solve this dilemma by tonight

Choose Griffith medicine unless you have a guaranteed pathway into medicine at Melbourne
