Hello all. I'm new to the forum and this is my first post, so forgive me for any of the noob/lame comments i make.
I will be commencing the BSc this year and like most students i attended the AAD today. What i aim to get out of it is an engineering systems major, in this case civil systems
At the session for engineering, i learned that for civil systems along with the math prereqs and eds 1/2, i could choose between chem 1/2 or phys 1/2 as complementary subjects. Being someone who did chem at VCE and did reasonably well and only did physics up to year 10, this was a huge relief. (I really don't know why i didn't choose physics for vce so dont ask lol)
But somehow, it being civil eng i still feel that physics is vitally important. My query basically is, do you guys recommend me to choose physics fundamentals and then physics 2 or stick with the two chem subjects for a better mark i guess, or do you think that it doesn't really matter? And most importantly how hard will it be to pick phyics 2 coming from fundamentals?
Thanks in advance for your replies
