VTAC negotiation
« on: January 23, 2014, 10:48:54 am »
Can some tell me when it closes, or has it already closed? I know it opened on 9am Monday, but I can't determine when it's too late to negotiate an offer through VTAC in time for the 2nd round?? It's frustrating because I sent the Monash med faculty and email 3 days ago asking whether I could potentially get a 2nd round offer, they haven't replied yet!! Knowing that will influence whether or not I do the negotiation process  :-\

I'm not sure but I'm guessing that it's best to do it earlier rather than later when there are places available.  But if you're absolutely certain you're going to do that course, why not apply for a negotiated offer?

Just found out around next week is about the latest, it's a really long story :\ Monash and Melbourne Biomed both have 2 pathways each (1 to each being specific and unique) into graduate medicine. I could also get a later offer for MBBS Monash, but got offered Melbourne Biomed, if I negotiate to get Monash Biomed (to get a scholarship and have 2 pathways) then I can't possibly be offered anything above that since there's only 1 offer per round..  :-\
