So I'm currently on nothing and it would be great if someone could give me a timeline on how I should start things please ( I'm really really horrible at these stuff- I'm so bad until I barely hand in homework on time so any help with when I should do stuff be great!)
Should I start going through Year 9 science first or go back to year 7 first?
Hey,
Dw, just begin when you "ready". First get ALL of your school work done so you can get that off your back. Then you will have all the time you want dedicated to study for JMSS. Start with mathematics and go over your year 9 maths book, do you understand everything? If not, do a few questions and/or learn the things you do not know. Maths is quite crucial in the exam, and time (so it is important you understand the topics). Main topics include: Algebra, Quadratics, Pythagoras, Triganometry, Geometry, Surds, Quadratics (basic), parabolas (basic) and logic! Just familiarise yourself with the textbook. Hopefully that takes about a week or 2 at most. Then for about a week (depending on time) go over the Science Textbook. Buy some ICAS practise tests if you can! Understand the year 9 textbook and then go to year 8. Dont bother with year 10 (only look at year 10 maths book if you have time). Go through year 7 if you like. On the final week till the exam, write as many essays, do as many ICAS practise exams and maths/numerical reasoning ones as you can. Search on the web for numerical reasoning. For maths, do multiple choice chapter reviews! Remember many people dont even go to tuition and get in! Keep your motivation and confidence which is what I am afraid I cant do on the day

Good Luck, hopefully we all get in
