You guys kept talking about weird science-related topics, so I'm not how relevant this is, but still, I present game theory.

Doesn't really matter. Frankly, the 60 hours I spent doing tests at JAC could have been better spent :(.

Hey guys! ;D just a quick question, have any of you studied the anatomy of a plant?
Because I'm studying that now and I can't find a good website, either it's too simple or too detailed. :-\
So can someone send me a good link about Plant anatomy or some notes?  ;)
:D

There's a few posts about it on a blog I made: http://victorianscience.wordpress.com
There isn't much content on there though, because of lack of time :(.

Hi! I'm a newcomer to this forum and I am also sitting the JMSS test this Saturday :)
Hopefully it's not too late to be a part of this conversation and to exchange knowledge with one another  :D

nah mate, its all good. Basically, most of us know our year 9 science and maths textbooks well. Most of us also have gone into further detail within the 2 subjects as well. Me personally, have gone through year 7,8, and 9 (and year 10 chemistry) Science and made short, dot point chapter summaries to look at on Friday. :) For maths, I have gone through year 9 curriculum and year 10 basics. I have done 5 ICAS Science exams to prepare me as well as practise essays on various topics. I have attended JAC and Hendersons. JAC was not good, I think I only obtained science writing and timing skills from it. Hendersons were good, but likely nothing you didn't already know. They gave some shortcuts and so to help speed up my confidence and timing. If you did Mhs, nhs, schs or macrob last year, the maths and numerical are very similiar! Good Luck to you and I have been advised to not study on Friday (just read over notes).  :D

Hey Lemonypoptop! Welcome to the forum. :)
It's not too late to be part of this conversation. Hopefully you've already started studying though, it may be a little bit late now :P

Oh, and to clarify what SKGUN11 said about not studying on Friday, he means that you shouldn't try to learn anything new or go over any new details, but just to kind of reinforce current knowledge by reading over notes and focus it for the test on Saturday.

Best of luck with the exam! :D :D

Oh wow! You have done soooo much studying, you'll definitely get in for sure. As for myself I have touched on year 8,9 and a bit of year 10 science. From this I have made revision notes under Biology, Chemistry and Physics (I myself tend to favour Biology a bit more than the rest but overall somehow I manage to do better in chemistry ::)) Last year I didn't try out for Macrob since I found it too competitive and would never have been guaranteed a place. Hopefully though my hard work will pay off based on my results from the JMSS test ;D Good luck to all those trying out as well :D

Thankfully I have already started studying for the exam, and I am actually nearly done finishing my notes :) I finally managed to beat procrastination for once ::)

haha thanks but I am sure you will make it too  :) You have learned the essentials and me too! I like biology the most but seem to do well in chemistry, haha! Yeah, what rilin said before was good, DO NOT learn anything new on friday haha! Best of luck!
