Remind me, what parts of a prac report do we need to include? Aim, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedure, Results and Conclusion? Or is there any more?
Title, Aim, Hypothesis, Materials, Method, Diagram (Optional),Expected Results, Discussion (Optional) and Conclusion. The only reason you would have a discussion is if you are really knowledgable about the topic and want to show it off :P.

how would you write your method- in dot points or a paragraph?

I always try to number it. Like when you're cooking or something. So like if the experiment was baking a cake (really non-specific) it would be something like this for the method:

1. Place ingredients in bowl
2. Mix ingredients with beater on high for 2 minutes
3. Add egg
4. Beat for another minute on high
5. Pour mixture into pan
6. Place pan into oven for 22 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius (160 fan forced)

Something like that should work well. Oh... and if the prac is about baking cake then you're destined an A+ from my awesome tutorial on writing the method.

Thanks everyone for all the help for JMSS preparation in the past months. It has been amazing and seriously appreciate it! Talking and discussing relevant things with you guys were great and also I even learned new things as well as gaining friendships! It has amazingly come to less than 24 hours till the big day! I think we all have studied and prepared really well, we should hopefully be fine! Good Luck to everyone and again thanks! We shall discuss things after the exam and hopefully I get to meet you guys! I will be probably wearing a blackish jumper and burgundy chinos. Good Luck everyone! Do your best!  ;D ;) :D

Thank you all so much everyone for this past "MONTH" (yes one month  >.>) has been truly inspirational. I have gained allot of studying techniques, knowledge and friendships, I think all of you guys have studied well and are extremely prepared (much more than me I assume). I can't believe the test has arrived so quickly omg. I'm looking forward for the test and meeting you guys. See you in a few hours!!

Good luck to all and goodnight.

I'm looking forward to meeting you too... I probably haven't studied anywhere near as much as Hannibal and a few others, but I'm confident I will get in thanks to all the help and support you guys have given us. It only seemed like yesterday when I found out about JMSS and wanted to get in, so I would like to thank everybody for all that you have done.

Best of luck, and I'll see you again when we all get into JMSS!!! :D :D :D

Just want to say thank you on everyone's support from this group and I personally really appreciate it. I have gained so much from this group not only in terms of knowledge but many inspirational and motivational stories as well as friendships and hopefully this friendship can still last even after the JMSS test. All of us here (except me :P) have worked hard just for this moment and are extremely prepared for the test so now just calm down and be confident because I know you all can do this and get in!  Good Luck to everyone and again thanks! Hopefully I get to meet you guys!
Sorry it seems a bit unclear but when and where are we meeting and how are we suppose to recognise each other LOL I think it will be more convenient for me before the test because I will be leaving right after (maybe) :'( I hope I don't leave early because I really want to be able to see all of you that helped me through this!
Again, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND DO YOUR BEST! Have faith in yourself!

Good luck all year 9's for the entrance exam. Make sure to read all the questions carefully before you answer them. Also, the Science Communication assesses your communication skills not your knowledge.

Make sure to have a good nights sleep, BIG DAY TMR, HUH :)
Again, Good Luck to all :)
