LOL and for topic 2, what ideas did you guys jotted down? LOL I just described the difference structure, function of the nucleus and how atoms have Ionic Bond. LOL I could of written heaps more, but then I only have 3 mins left once i finished paragraph 4 so I just quickly summed up with a conclusion and gave myself enough time to quickly correct some minor spelling and grammar errors.
I did,
Cells - Simple Definition.
- Basic Structure of plant and animal cells.
- Photosynthesis (after explaining about chlorophyll in plant cells).
- Cell Division.
- Uncontrollable cell division (cancer).
- Diagram.
Atoms- Simple Definition.
- Comparing Size (1000 atoms on pin tip)
- Protons, Neutrons and Electrons.
- Quarks.
- Isotopes and radioisotopes.
- Nuclear Fission.
- Diagrams.
I found
Science Reasoning: The most difficult paper for me. Some were easy but some were WTF?!! Hopefully I did well, ICAS is easier!
Numerical Reasoning: Easy! Mostly patterns that were quite simple! Skipped long paragraph questions though because I knew there would be no time for them. Finished the paper but still guessed about 5.
Essay 1: Did the prac question and wrote that the boiling temperature does increase. I then in the discussion wrote about how they are ionicly bonded and the particles are much larger in the solution, so it would be harder to vibrate, thus harder to boil! Fogot to write about convection

I know my guess was not correct but hopefully they mark me for scientifically thinking or something
Maths: Easy! Did guess like 10 though but finished the test. Skipped complicated ones. I remember one of them asked us to find the equation of turning Fahrenheit into Celsius!
Essay 2: I was so happy when I saw this! Drew like 4 mini diagrams and wrote about the stuff I mentioned earlier!
