Yh maybe.
But jmss is a public school so I assume it's around the sane day public school starts

ON THE WEBSITE IT SAID:
Wednesday, 28 January 2015

1st day Term 1 (teachers)
When
Wednesday, 28 Jan 2015
more detailsť  copy to my calendar

There is a possibility that school starts Mon 2nd Feb... not bad. But I might email the school to confirm the dates for sure :P

School time ?
8:40-3:15. Im not sure about Wednesdays though coz thats cocurricular

I'm pretty sure that the co-curricular is optional, it's just recommended that you do it. That ends at 5:00 or 5:30 I think

EDIT: I was very wrong. Co-curricular is required and it's for two hours at the end of the day every wednesday.

Co-curricular is not optional, but compulsory up until year 11 if I'm correct! And it starts at 1:30 up to 3:15

Can you do two co curricular activities? Can you tell us more about how they are run? :) Cheers!
Depending on what co-curricular you pick, you may have to change every Term since they only run for certain periods of time (E.g Sport runs per Term whilst Drawing may run for a Semester for example).
Undeadset15 has pretty much got it right where it runs from 1:30pm - 3:30pm and that's about it really... I'd wait till Info Night before you ask any more about it though since Info Night will answer most questions officially so it's best to wait till then I guess (same goes for the laptop question).

In regards to start of school, wait till it officially arrives but I believe Year 10's start on the Wednesday actually (that is January 28).

I heard we have to get our own laptops this year, anyone know anything more about it?

Not really. We should just wait until info night though, that might clear all these things up

If you are talking about the science fair that you complete in Year 10 and present in October, then all I can say is calm down! Haha!! You have more than a year before it, and you discuss a lot of it during class! Don't worry too much about next year right now! Just don't worry all and let it all fall into place! Relax, and enjoy your holidays haha!!
