Who's your orientation host?

Me and a few of my friends have received a text or email (unimelb email) from our orientation host and I'm just curious to hear who everyone got, to see if any of us happen to be in the same group (:

Just checked my emails, I've received no such information. To be honest, I didn't even know we had "hosts."

I was planning to make my way around the Uni on my own so...

UPDATE: Oh yeah, I got this guy called Cam Richardson. Honestly though, do we HAVE to be led around the campus by a  host? I sort of want to do my own thing :/

I don't know, my orientation host emailed me that link.
Oh thanks. that's fine, I thought I'm pretty good with navigating around but couldn't find the log in page...

Only in my classes, if someone is doing Chinese or Anthropology it's unlikely that we'll end up being friends since our schedules are so far apart. It's easier if I make friends in my own classes, at least it's consistent that way?

It's completely up to you if you want to go or not! You're under no obligation whatsoever to take part in the Orientation Program, it's really just an offer if you'd like to join in and think if would be helpful to you. Additionally you could go, meet your host, and leave whenever you'd like. Or anything else!

Everyone should have a host I think, although I vaguely remember last year that some were allocated on the day.

I got my offer through second round so may be that is why.
