Best lecturers for Calculus 1, Physics 1, and Fundamentals of Chemistry

Does anyone have any idea which lecturers are the "better" ones. That is, they know their stuff, aren't just reading to the class, and they know how to teach what they have been taught.

Physics 1 along with Physics for Biomed are some of the worst subjects taught at first year. Have fun

I had Alex Ghitza for Calculus 1 and I really liked him.
But the maths subjects change lecturers a lot so it's not certain he'll be teaching again.
For future reference I also recommend Scott Connell for when/if you take Linear Algebra although that subject really does chop and change lecturers.

Basically what i'm going to do is go to all the lecture streams with my 4X copy of calculus 2 notes and see which lecturer's the best. same as linear algebra. A good instructor has often been indicative of my enthusiasm for that subject. i.e. shit lecturer==bad grades.

Yeah I did this too.  I went through 4 Linear Algebra lecturers but it was so worth it.  The first three were absolutely useless.

I read in LMS that Dr. Roger Rassool will be lecturing half of the first lectures for Physics 1. I say that's a good news.

I really don't mind at all reading textbook. In fact, I used to think that lectures are supposed offer you what the books don't, instead of just being the 'audio' + whiteboard version of the books.
