Biomedicine queries

Hi :) I'm a first year health science student at Monash and I'm not really enjoying my course that much. It's far more focused on the social side of health, whereas I'm more interested in the science.
I was therefore thinking that I could transfer to biomed. However, I have a few queries:

1) I didn't do methods of chem at school, can I still transfer? Monash/melb
2) since I didn't do vce science, would I be disadvantaged or find it hard?
3) how can I transfer? I got an atar of 99 :)

1. Not to Melbourne
2. Need Chem as a prereq for Melbourne as well. You'd be significantly disadvantaged without it, hence being a prereq
3. Not sure

Hopefully alondouek will give some insights about Biomed Science at Monash! (or somebody else)
