I am trying to write a text response on this topic and would appreciate any comments on how I could go about it.
I had thought to tackle it as follows;

 - Ignorance of the path Scrooge/Wealthy are treading and the doom it leads to as depicted by Marley.

 - Ignorance and disregard of poverty depicted by the wealthy, leading to doom/death of the poor.

 - Ignorance of the giving spirit of Christmas depicted by Scrooge and the Wealthy towards the poor, and the fate suffered as a result.

Any suggestions appreciated !

Thanks!

More so (to what I think) Dickens portrays ignorance as the lack of intervention as well, as this lack of intervention spells doom for Tiny Tim and even Scrooge. Without much needed change or intervention in their lives they would be destined for death (doom).

My 5 cents

Similarly you must remember that dickens doesn't want to show ignorance based on financial or social classes, as Dickens main aim is to make us his reader that is the ignorance of sharing care, love, warmth, time and not just wealth, as failure to do this "in life, [one] is condemned to do so after death."

The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come presents Scrooge with his doomed demise. Obviously, this is also demonstrated by Marley's ghost, who is an example of the "incessant torture of remorse" that Scrooge will suffer should he not mend his miserly ways. Doom is imprinted on the brow of the "wolfish" boy, Ignorance, to demonstrate that by being ignorant of other peoples' needs (this is targeted to the Victorian elite who disregard the poor, financially and morally), they will be led to a doomed demise. We see the looters congregate in the beetling shop, where they show each other the trivial items they've stolen from Scrooge, like a "pair of sugar tongs", "a pair of sleeve buttons" and a "few boots". After Scrooge has died, the poor have stolen from him. This is actually conveying a really stark and confronting message - in simple terms, the poor are going to steal from the rich who have neglected them for so long. Its time for the poor to use the riches of the bourgeoisie, whose Malthusian principles have undermined the "half-naked, slipshod, ugly" poor living in the appalling conditions of the slum.

I had thought to tackle it as follows;

 - Ignorance of the path Scrooge/Wealthy are treading and the doom it leads to as depicted by Marley.I wouldn't base the entire paragraph to Marley - this is really limiting yourself to just the encounter with Marley's "dreadful apparition". The idea is really good, just don't talk about this primarily focussing upon Marley. I'd talk about how the Ghost of Christmas Present shows Scrooge Ignorance and Want, I'd show how the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come portrays the slums.

 - Ignorance and disregard of poverty depicted by the wealthy, leading to doom/death of the poor.

 - Ignorance of the giving spirit of Christmas depicted by Scrooge and the Wealthy towards the poor, and the fate suffered as a result. What do you mean? I think you mean that Scrooge demonstrates a strong distaste for Christmas, and so he's being ignorant in terms of not demonstrating love, kindness and compassion, all attributes encouraged by this "kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time". I wouldn't even base my entire body paragraph on the Christmas spirit. I'd use it as a mini-topic, and use textual evidence like Scrooge refusing to say "merry Christmas", as well as not attending Fred's Christmas party. I'd discuss the ignorance of failing to practise spiritual and materialistic generosity, and link it back to why "doom" is imprinted on the brow of Ignorance by saying that Scrooge is presented with his bleak future, where people rejoice and are "thankful in their soul" for his death, joke about his "cheap" funeral and his corpse lies "bereft, unwatched", surrounded by no friends or family.

Any suggestions appreciated !

That's my contribution. Hope this helps, and feel free to disagree/not use anything I've mentioned above. :)
