Places to study on campus?

Being a clueless jaffy, I have only found the following:

Ballieu (not worth it since so many people)
ERC
G50 in richard berry
Engineering learning centre
rowden white even though you're not "supposed" to study there

Does anybody have any other places? Especially looking for quiet non-crowded places.

Probably info overload, but have a look here:

As far as the ones I like:
-Bottom floor rooms in Frank Tate (only accessible for Environments and Grad Design students) - Very quiet and very warm in winter
-Law Library - Probably the most modern and sleek library on campus. Good views and lots of natural light too.
-Architecture library - Now hidden away in the depths of the ERC, but generally not as crowded
-Biomed Library - Can get a bit crowded but not as much as Baillieu
-Outdoor benches outside Doug McDonnell/Frank Tate - Good when the weather's nice
-Maths and Stats Learning Centre in Richard Berry

I generally just go the one of these based on how close I am to them or where my next class is

UoM | Bachelor of Environments (Civil Systems): 2012-2014 | Master of Engineering (Civil): 2015-2016 |

Feel free to shoot me a PM pertaining to getting to M.Eng through the Environments course, or the Envs/Eng courses in general.

1st and 2nd floors of Brownless Biomed library are way less packed than the ground floor. Most of the time you'll be able to find a spot there.

ERC is a bit crowded imo.

Bailleu is terrible.

Ground floor of the chemistry building is alright, although it can get very full during practical times.

Physics study space on the ground floor has like the worst layout. Ever.

You can also walk in any empty tute rooms provided there's no class running - I did this a couple of times throughout the year.

are you allowed to use the law library if you're not a law student?

Yep! Anyone can use the law library. However, I think there are some sections that exclusively for law students (swipe card access).

Where abouts in Baillieu do you go? There are plenty of seats up on the top floor, pretty quiet, and there's good access to powerpoints too if you want to charge your laptop.

Top floor of biomed is good! It's a silent zone and you can find seats pretty easily up there.

Also, check out Gilblin Eunson. It's pretty nice and there are lots of powerpoints around. They have a silent zone on the top floor too.

Law lib is the most reliable place to get a seat; especially during swot vac.

What actually is the Spot?  Is it the whole Law building down at the bottom of the square (like, off campus, towards Victoria Street?)

Can you just clarify when you actually sleep? I only ask because I woke up to snapchats of your study session ranging from midnight to like 5am <3

Spots usually packed during 9-3; and it is LOUD.
