SAC 2 - NHPAS & Nutrition

Hi guys,

In a few weeks I'm sitting my second SAC and I was wondering whether someone would be able to tell me if I would need to know the following:

-Definition of NHPAS & Direct, Indirect & Intangible Costs

-The Cancer Control  NHPA involves 9 cancers, will I need to have a definition of each one?

Hi Auralee,
I have this SAC on Tuesday and we were told you need to have definitions for the each NHPA, as well as the term NHPA.
You should know definitions also for direct, indirect and intangible costs and be able to come up with different costs specific to each NHPA.

In terms of definitions for different cancers, you can adapt a general cancer definition to the specific cancer. For example, if your general cancer definition was "the uncontrolled growth and mutation of cells that threatens the body", but the question was asking you to define colorectal cancer, you could adapt this to "the uncontrolled growth and mutation of cells in the colon and the rectum that threatens body function".
