2014 VCD Unit 3 Design Process and Folio help

So I'm doing Units 3 and 4 of VCD this year and was hoping to get a little group going to help each other out throughout the coursework and design process for our folios.
It'd be great to get some tips and advice from past students. Maybe just discuss methods of how we can work better and overcome any problems or ambiguities together.

I for one am starting to write up my design brief at the moment and i'm having a little trouble with the format and structure of the whole thing. I do Design & Tech 3/4 too and the design brief we had to write up for that subject was very different to how the VCD one needs to be done.  Any help would be much appreciated.
