Biology Sacs Advice

hey fellow biologists :3

How does everyone go about with answering questions in sacs, what I mean is how much depth do you go into with information and terminology, should you go the full load or just answer sufficiently for the question? And what do you do in your biology sac preparations?

And of course, what factors in a sac promote high marks which lead to a high rank in your cohort? Meaning, how do you make yours stand out more and show evident of high knowledge?

How does everyone go about with answering questions in sacs
- I write down some notes on the question sheet next to the question to get my thoughts going as I read through the questions. Highlight the key words also helps to make sure you're providing the correct information in your answer.

should you go the full load or just answer sufficiently for the question?
-Write what is sufficient to properly answer the question. if you write more and you've already written enough to gain the marks allocated to that question, you are wasting time.

And what do you do in your biology sac preparations?
-I generally write out a checklist of knowledge and handwrite/type notes under each section of my checklist and add in diagrams etc. I then answer practice questions. If it is a writeup for a sac, think about the limitations of the prac after the prac class before the write up class.

And of course, what factors in a sac promote high marks which lead to a high rank in your cohort?
Meaning, how do you make yours stand out more and show evident of high knowledge?
-If you answer the question correctly, there is nothing else needed to get high marks to develop a high rank.
-Your teacher isn't going to award you extra marks for waffle of additional knowledge.

Thank you. That was really helpful :)
