Hey everyone, I did the the test to get into year 10 two years ago and I got in. I'm pretty sure there were 11 people who got in (out of a 100ish people who tried out). And one crucial thing that the principal told us was that there were three kinds of people who got through.
Either they did really well in the maths tests (like a superior or high average), or they did really well in the English tests (superior, high average) OR they did pretty good across the board (which is like a mix of above averages and high averages) So yeah, if you think you may have done well in maths, but did badly on something like the comprehension, there's really no need to worry.
