UMAT Ease UMAT Lecture - Like No Other!

Hi there!

I’m very pleased to announce that following the success of 2 lectures last year, I’ll be holding another economical UMAT preparatory lecture in mid-late June for the UMAT 2014 paper!

For those who don’t know, I received a 100%ile in the UMAT2012, after preparing for it in the last few weeks before the actual paper (I did one exam in the summer holidays but that was it), starting with REALLY low marks but bringing them up. I found some essential tricks and ways of looking at the paper that would enhance your skills, and complement any practice paper, even just the ACER ones.

IMO, the major selling point of this lecture is that because the UMAT is essentially a competition, you need an edge over the others, and a different way of looking at the questions. This is why although popular companies are great, they don’t necessarily give you a high chance of scoring highly, primarily because of their popularity. Why not try a way of looking at questions that has been proven to work, and that not everyone knows of?

The lecture is based on the book The UMAT Manual: A Systematic and Simplified Approach (more details can be found here: http://umatease.wordpress.com/essential-books/the-umat-manual-a-systematic-and-simplified-approach/), which has been proven by past students to be extremely helpful. Some basic information:

1) It’s technique and strategy-based, rather than question-based, although it does feature a full-length practice exam!

Most students have trouble figuring out how to answer the UMAT questions. I arrived at a solution for this problem by grouping questions. Throughout the book, questions are categorised, with identification features and a method, thus providing a step-by-step process of understanding and completing the questions. This checklist-type way of doing the UMAT will result in higher marks. And a full-length practice exam is a huge bonus and way to test out your skills!

2) The UMAT is a competition.

If everyone does ‘A”s preparation, then everyone will have the same edge. Everyone will be able to solve the same number of questions, but only attain average marks, which is why there is no defined correlation between amount of preparation and results. Thus it is important to use a unique method, one that is not used by majority of students. Why not try a unique method that has proven to work, one that few students know about?

3) It’s a quick way of boosting your score.

Using this method of preparation, the I managed to prepare for the UMAT in under a month. It’s quick and user-friendly.
