No need to- just another year of your life that you will get through :) your happiness is more important that some silly marks (altho, im not saying to not try your hardest)
take it from someone who prioritised marks more than health, didnt work out and wasn't really fun :/ YOU'LL BE FINE !!! :))

VCE is a game of survival. Think of it that way. It's the same deal with university as well - you would be surprised at the amount of people who don't even get through a 3-year university degree (some factors out of their control of course). Your first and foremost objective should be getting through the year. ATAR should be secondary because there are always other ways to get into x or y course, even though they might take a bit longer to achieve.

Good luck :-)

Studying for my 3/4 exams :( Anyone have any tips on not stressing after exams and before we get our results back? It's like a thing that happens to me - I'm fine (well, as fine as possible given the situation) before actually taking the exam, then after the exam I get panic attacks and anxiety over how well I did, and I get so nervous for when I get my results back. I'm seriously thinking this isn't just a 'little thing' anymore; it's given me so much worry. When I leave the exam, I don't talk to anyone because if I do, they'll say "I got _____ for this question, what about you?" And then my heart just sinks because I didn't get the same answer as them, so I think I must be wrong, which makes me depressed and upset and anxious until exams get back. Opening results is a whole other thing - I get soooo nervous, it is ridiculous. Does anyone know what to do? :'( (P.S. When do we get our GAT results back??)

Have you talked to anyone (i.e. family, friends, teachers) about this? In the words of one of my teachers last year: "Stress is good; it means you care. It's only when stress turns into distress that it becomes very bad and something you must seek help for."

You'll be fine.surely you can't do as bad as me.

After a physics common test, the whole class was discussing over a water ski question and whether the force was 50 something or not. Basically, where everyone wrote a numerical answer, I just wrote "friction".

I finished one of my 3/4s today! I'm so happy, now I just have to focus on smashing out the Bio exam. How are the rest of you going?

Anyone excited for year 12?!

Yeah my EI presentation was great. I think I was 20 seconds over time but that's because the assessors didn't tell me that 10 minutes have passed.

They asked me a lot of questions and I did answer them pretty well (I think).  I'm not expecting anything near a good score when results come out because I didn't do too well on my 4000 word report but it was still a very good experience. I would say Extended Investigation is hands down my favourite subject.

What about you? How's Bio preparation?
