thanks everyone for the consolation, advice and faith :)
I actually think I want to make a thread about getting ahead because some people treat it like God's word and others find it very detrimental, would be good to get some solid opinions..

Personally I'd only really find it advantageous to get ahead in content subjects as concept-based learning isn't something I'm good at fully understanding on my own. But each to their own and no matter where we're all at now, we're all sitting exams on the same day, :)

As pi said, enjoy the year, and make the most of the good and the bad! Life doesn't end here, it starts. Smash it fam <3

Anyone else feeling really climactic about this year? Like this year is pretty much where I'd planned my life up to and it's kind of the end of that.. We actually start living after this year :o strange..

I start on Friday for motivation day(full of activities and guest speakers), so I sort of start actual stuff on Monday.

When does everyone start school?

I also start on Monday, although I have some sort of learning engagement meeting on Friday that will probably last 15 minutes.  ;)

I start on Thursday. It's mostly just assemblies, guest speakers, etc though. We also have our photo day that day. Then from Friday to Tuesday we have a few more guest speakers and programs on as well one or two classes a day. My school has Wednesday's off so the following Thursday is when our actual classes start without anything else going on.

Yes. It acts a sort of 'study day' where we can either come into school and use the facilities, resources, etc or get help from our teachers, or we can stay at home and study. Alternatively, anyone who is doing VCE with a VET subject would come in on this day as well and they try to schedule excursions on Wednesday's too so we don't miss any class time during the week.

That's so dope!! It would be awesome to have a day off during the week to catch up and distress a little.
