Does economics help with accounting?

I have to do a 1/2 humanities at my school and I a definitely taking accounting. Is economics going to give me any help? I only want to take it as a 1/2 not a 3/4 so I though I might as well do something that help my other subjects

not really. economics content is very different to accounting's.
