32 in English

Okay, I'm doing decently well in all my other subjects, but English is by far the hardest for me.  Hpwever, really want to at least achieve a scaled 30 study score (32ish raw).
I've been averaging As and a few A+s on my SACs (85-90%), but my cohort is pretty weak, and my school is a long way from even being decent. I know I'm ranking in the top 2 (maybe 3), in my class for all these SACs (I have no idea about the other two English classes), but I just don't know how that will translate to a study score. Any help, advice, or estimates would be greatly appreciated!

2013: IT Apps 44~41  Bio 35~33
2014 Scores: Methods 35~41 English 34~32 Psych 45~45 Chem 45~48 Physics 41~43
2014: ATAR: 95.55
2015: Bachelor of Science, Chem or Mathematical Physics major at UoM (hopefully...)

Your ranking is the thing that matters. Since you said your school is a long way from being decent, im assuming your SACs are easy?? Nonetheless, i think if you get like C+ or B, you should be able to get 32... If you smash the exam with an mid to high A+, you could get 45+, what i'm saying is, you've got a good/high ranking so now it comes down to the exam.

Okay, that's actually pretty reassuring. The SACs themselves aren't really particularly hard nor easy (for English at least), due solely to the nature of the subject, I've always figured what mattered most was how generously they were marked, would that be correct?
If it is, I'm in luck, because I scored the one tough English teacher in the school (the others barely hesitate in giving full marks for "trying your best"). My particular English teacher was apparently invited to become an English examiner, but declined, so I think it's fair to say that her As are relatively accurate, and at least partially reflect actual exam As??

It's very difficult to say because if you compare your cohort strength and everything to another school it can be very different. I think you should stop spending some much time pondering on scores but work hard for exams because all this statistical moderations are things you can't control but what you can control is perfecting your essays or work on areas that need improving and if you do that, i have no doubt that you'd get 32+.

I know. And yeah, when it comes down to it, I guess it's close to unpredictable. I suppose I was just after some kind of indication on whether or not a 32 was out of the question, and how much I should be putting in to achieve one. But yeah, thank you! You have actually reassured me quite a lot!! I'm just really good at over thinking things and so I end up worrying about scores more than I try to work on them (definitely something I'm trying to work on).
