What to do in reading time?

Other than pick out the question I want to start on what else should I be doing in the 15 minutes of reading time?

All I'm doing right now is "reading" through the questions and then just sitting there waiting for reading time to end -.-

Please share your reading time to-do list.

Try to think about the possible tricks that VCAA can give you
they're commonly, discounts, reporting periods, additional depreciation/ balance day adjustments that aren't accounted for.
Look at the more complex questions and try to plan out how to approach them
Don't bother trying to do practical questions in your head, because it usually takes up a lot of time and distracts you from other things
In general try to break down questions and read them carefully and don't skim through it
hope this helps!
2012- Methods (44)
2013- English Language (45), Specialist math (39), Accounting (50), Economics (47), UMEP Economics (4.5)
Will be tutoring Accounting throughout 2014, please PM me if interested

This is all great advice.

It's also good to make a mental inventory of things that may be thrown in there that are designed to slip you up. If you keep an eye out for them during reading time and take a mental note, then you're less likely to make silly mistakes when you actually put pen to paper.

Hey thanks for the tips :) I just get a bit overwhelmed during reading time you know? I'll try some of the things you both have shared and see how things go!
