What stage of the PSM is a prototype website made? is it during the design stage since a prototype website is a design tool that shows the appearance and some functions of the solution?

Edit: okay, I just learnt a prototype website is created during development... but WHY? It doesn't make sense! It not the real solution, so um, yea, could someone please clarify this?  :-\

Thanks for marking those. I just realised that in excel if you sort the fields in descending order (A-Z) then the numbers are actually sorted in ascending order (because A=1, B=2). Would that matter on the exam, or would just saying descending suffice for numbers ordered going from 10-1 for example?

Thanks again.

Bumping. Fairly certain that I can just say "Descending" and it is correct.

Based from http://vceit.com/p/00-psm2011.htm

Development involves:
"Electronically manipulating (or coding) data to 'build' or create the solution following initial designs."

Descending is Largest -> Smallest.
Z->A or 9->1

Ascending is Smallest -> Largest
A->Z or 1->9

Use the terms in that way for the exam.

Ethernet is the internet cable. I've never seen a question on it though...

"Ethernet is a link layer protocol in the TCP/IP stack, describing how networked devices can format data for transmission to other network devices on the same network segment, and how to put that data out on the network connection"

Yeah. I have no idea what that mean. Oh! We need to know TCP/IP! I can't wait until reading time...its only then when I know whether I'm completely screwed or not...

Good luck buddy!

I found a better definition though: it's a protocol and basically about how data is sent through a network, a node listens for 'silence,' and when it detects no transmission over the network, it transmits its file. Sometimes a collision may occur between two files that are being transmitted over the same network, so the computers resend that file.
