Picking up legal studies 3&4

Hii,
Just want to get an opinion from people that ARE doing legal studies in year 12 or teachers/tutors whatever, will it be difficult to pick up 3&4 legal studies without having done units 1&2 and no 'extension' subjects in year 10?

I'm thinking of picking this subject up in place of chemistry, because chemistry right now is a big no for me.
I will most likely be doing this subject outside of school if i do choose it, so Distance Education, and i'm already picking up another subject (food tech because i enjoy it)
Would it be hard? Will i survive?
Honest opinions, please.

Thanks all,
Have a lovely day

I picked up legal this year without having done 1/2. I'm rank one and love it, so if you think you'll like it and are interested in it, go for it!
I've dropped only a few marks all year so you can definitely do well without 1/2 :)

Plus, I learnt most of the course on my own and my teacher only went over the basics and if I only learnt what he told us I wouldn't have done anywhere near as well. Don't see Distance Education as a problem, the concepts are pretty easy to grasp.

Good luck!
