Do not do finance as breadth.

It is supposedly quite easy in Summer and in Semester 1, it's just that Jordan sets bad exams for Semester 2, so please nobody do Finance 1 in Sem 2.

Hey there, I have a problem. I filled my "Breadth Subjects levels 1,2,3" all with level 2 breadths. Am I allowed to put level 1 breadths into the "breadth subject levels 2,3"?

If not can the student centre re jumble it for me?

Thanks in advance.

I've got a similar issue and I think your student centre will be able to definitely sort that out for you :)

For the purpose of reenrolment, just enrol in a random breadth to fill in the slot - then get it changed around at your student centre :)

I've had to do it before. You can do it online, (email 13MELB,) but it will take a while at this time of year.

Or you can go in and they'll do it in five seconds.

Seeing this subject made me so happy: https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/EURO10002

If only it wasn't essay based... even then I'm still considering taking it hahaha

It's an intensive during the winter break.

It's an intensive during the winter break.

I did the subject this year in July. It was a very interesting subject, the workshop/tutorials had pretty engaging exercises and role plays.

They did change the assessment format for the subject for next year. Originally it was a take home exam of 50 MC questions and 6 short answer and it was, but now its an exam. I guess the take home was too easy haha.

The content itself isn't difficult, but there are quite a few concepts/important details that will need to be memorised.

I'm concerned that they'll make the subject extraordinarily harder , because the first cohort did really well in it. Are there any new breadth subjects in 2015?

Here is my list of breadth subjects I did at uni, with a recommendation or yes/no whether I'd encourage them.
1. Sports Coaching - YES, easiest thing I've done since I was about 13 years old haha
2. Sport & Education in Australian Society - I'd give it a half yes/half no, it was a little boring, but quite easy to do well in
3. Food for a Healthy Planet - NO, worst subject I've done at uni (apart from physics haha)
4. Catastrophes that Changed Society - Yes
5. Going Places, Travelling Smarter - YES, quite easy to do well in, and very fun/interesting subject
6. Deafness & Communication - YES, easy/fun subject (lets hope I don't jinx myself for my mark haha)

Hope that gives Stick, and a few others ideas for breath subjects during their degree  :)

Did you literally just pick the easiest breadth subjects you could find?
