Exam Marks and Study Scores

Hi all,

Does anyone here know how many marks one can lose on the biology exam to get a 50? I know that SAC marks come into play, but I heard that generally, if you lost 4 marks per paper in the previous study design, a 50 could be achieved. What was the situation last year in the new study design? Also, roughly, what exam mark would get you a 47-49 (again, speaking very vaguely here).

I got a 47 and scored 101/110, ranked first. I know someone who scored 48 with a 102.5/110. I know someone who scored a 49 with 104/110. I know that anyone who got 105/110 + (given proper ranking) scored a 50.

Damn, that's one smart cohort. When I did biology you could drop up to like 12-13 marks (over both exams - we had 2 exams in my time, both out of 75) and still get a 50.

What do you think I would get with 99/100 unit 3 100/100 unit 4 (rank 1 both) and 90/110?

What are the chances of getting 45+ if the ranking isn't high? Thanks.

What would a predicted SS be for Rank 1-3 and 95/110 on the exam? Thanks.
