My brother called up Monash Uni this morning and spoke to them about getting an irregular offer (he wants to get into Science @ monash- he has an ENTER 8 points higher than the clearly-in).
They told him to come down and speak to the selections officer so I'm going with him soon and Ill wait for him. He better get a spot.

bachelor of pharmacy at la trobe CSP (bendigo)
bachelor of commerce at melbourne FFEE (city)

arrghhhh which one?

I'd personally do pharmacy. If it was CSP Commerce @ Umelb then it would've been better.

WHoooOOO!! lol
Ok so went down to Monash with him and he spoke to the selections officer there and she said the best way to do it is to do an internal transfer once he is enrolled.
Ie. He accepts environmental science but as soon as that is done they will transfer him into Science. He will go to all the enrollments for science etc, this way he will bypass doing an irregular offer and can be accepted at first round stage.

So very happy now =)
Thanks to everyone on advice and info on irregular offers!

Good to hear Costargh

just means that i have to perform 5 out of my 6 clinical semester in a rural location, which has it pros as well as cons. I'll get more hands on experience and avoid the pecking order in metro locations to an extent.
