Since "whose reality" have their thread, what do you guys think the prompt will be on for encountering conflict?

Has there been anything to do with sources/causes of conflict recently?

No there hasn't, so I think there might be a good chance maybe?

Hopefully! I was just thinking a lot of them had to do with individual reactions and responses to conflicts and the effects of conflict. There hasn't really been anything addressing why conflict starts in the first place, it's place in society (ie. is it necessary for growth)??

Does anybody have any advice for incorporating external references such as moral philosophy, quotes, etc. into stories  I always struggle with it since unlike an expository essay you don't just quote it?

Omg im going to struggle big time if its about the nature/cause of conflict... i mean, if it has something about growth in it, that's alright i guess. I am so worried as well, 2008-2011, the prompts are sooo straightforward.

I hope it's on the causes of conflict, because I can generally manage to also comment of responses and resolution to conflict when that's the case. What forms are everybody planning on?

Could be something to do with new environments/foreign ones?
such as fear of the unknown, etc. Kind of thing

Checkout literally lauren's conflict prompts from exam 1 and 3. They're quite difficult. Oh and DJAlogical mentioned in the class of 2014 thread, "Conflict shows us what is right or wrong in this world" is quite challenging. I'm so scared/worried about the prompt that it may be something i'm totally not expecting. Praying to God it's responses or consequences of conflict.

apparently every year it leans more towards the new one. e.g. conscience for life of galileo last year.

Was life of galileo new? Anyway, a key idea in every man is that Stack is a bystander and how the things she observed has affected her...but i doubt this years prompt is on bystanders as that was 2010's or something, if so, that'd be great.

Yeah but there are things like, how she loses her journalistic objectivity and becomes involved in the conflict. So i think it might be something about changing values when faced with conflict
