Just wondering how many practice pieces people have done in total and how many topics (also which ones) everyone is studying for the essay.

Thanks in advance
 :)

If this is for section c i've mainly been organising my examples by topic and planning essays, I've only written about 3 complete essays so far. I've been studying for the main themes, but i'm not sure if i should concentrate on a couple in particular? I know a couple people who are doing this

Yeah it's for section C!

I've only done a few essays too and that's scaring me a bit, but I don't want to write it without grasping all the concepts and writing an essay that doesn't make sense.

Personally I've got mind maps relating to Standard English, technology, taboo, PC and euphemism/ dysphemism, should this be enough??

I would still recommend writing prac essays at this point - the timing is important to practise, you only have 40-45min to write 600-800 words.

I'd also recommend revising identity (particularly Unit 4 AOS 1 and 2), as this always seem to show up every year, and is a fairly good essay topic.

Just make sure you have quotes memorised and lots of fresh examples.

Best of luck!
