Hi,

Just wondering, with the clearly in rank, say the clearly in rank is 94, if I got a 92 or 93, what ways can I go about getting into that course or what are my chances of receiving a second or even first round offer for this course?

Thanks :)

Depending on your course and your subjects, you may be eligible for a subject bonus. Check your course on VTAC http://delta.vtac.edu.au/CourseSearch/searchguide.htm This means that certain scores in certain subjects can add to your aggregate, and just get you enough to get in.
Theres also other special considerations for some courses (such as a personal statement, SEAS, etc.), and you should check those. (although it might be too late for that now)
Lastly you can just sit and wait for second and third round offers and hope that you get one, because there's always a certain percentage of people that get in with an ATAR below the clearly in.

Thanks to the both of you! Makes me feel a little better!

Especially since I also won't have much for SEAS (which annoys me since I missed out on financial because we only stopped getting those benefits this year -.-) and I won't have anything for Access Melbourne!

Thanks again :D

That is last years rank, it very well could be different this year.

For many courses, a large proportion of applications are accepted below the clearly in. Why exactly all these people are accepted we cant say, things like SEAS and rankings probably explain the majority though. If you're rather close, i wouldn't fret, especially since it changes from year to year as well.
