So with a relatively easy exam 2 what will the cutoff for a 45 study score be? 113/120 or higher?

no way. if you got 32-35/40 in exam 1 then you are looking at 38+

really?! idont think so though cause the cut offs are gonna be way higher :(

Q21 seems to be one that was commonly found difficult - I got D for it.

A = area of two triangles + area of rectangle (if you split it up)
= pcos(x)psin(x) + p^2sin(x)
= p^2(sin(x)+cos(x) + sin(x))

If you graph y = sin(x)cos(x) + sin(x) you'll find there's one local maximum. Work out stationary point, x = pi/3.
can confirm.

Ugh what a joke. A plus cutoff probs above 70...

Anyone know what 38-39 exam 1, 80/80 exam 2 will get me? :/

For the question about plants and heights it said "to the nearest millimetre" and i literally converted the final answer to millimetres. Is that gonna cost me the mark or nah?

Would probably cost the mark if you wrote 191.blah millimetres, 191 millimetres is acceptable of course, so is 19.1 cm

I'm hoping that the scaling this year would be similar to last year. That would be really awesome  :)

Looking at the paper, I doubt that the A+ cut will be 90%.

My guess would be about 65-69/80 for A+.

Probably about 90 percent

This exam was slightly easier than 2013 but not by much. The MC was on a completely different level to it. 62-63/80 cutoff is my prediction, considering 2013s was 61.5/80.
