For Monash -

If you want to do a science degree, it has to be a MONASH science degree, and there are about 6 prerequisite subjects that you have to do to be considered for Monash Medicine at graduate level. Also, there are only 25 spots available for Monash students who are not in Biomedical Science (open to Monash Science, Monash Veterinary Medicine, Monash Physiotherapy and Monash Pharmacy) - and even those 25 spots are open to Biomedical Science students too. 50 places are reserved for Monash Biomedical Science students.

For Deakin -

You can do any degree, Arts, Science, anything.

For Melbourne -

You can do any degree, so long as you have done 2nd year Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.

Adding onto thushan's post, here's a thread which might help you too (also made by thushan LOL): Your options for Medicine if you didn't do so well on that UMAT

To further build upon Thush's point about subject prerequisites;

The units you will need to take are:
- DEV2022 (and therefore its semester 1 component, DEV2011) - this fulfils the anatomy prerequisite.

- BCH2011 and/or BCH2022, or BND2021 - this fulfils the biochem prereq.

- PHY2011, and PHY2021 or PHY2032 - this fulfils the physiology prereq.

There are other possible unit combinations you could take; for examples, have a look at UoM's MD subject prereqs here: http://sc.mdhs.unimelb.edu.au/sites/studentcentre/files/VIC-Domestic-Prerequisite-Subjects-updated-8-Aug-2014.pdf
