Mm... I balanced full-time uni with two part-time jobs, sport and long travel times (western suburbs --> Monash), so I had very little free time. I didn't have a regular timetable though, sorry... depended on what shifts I'd been rostered on to work.
I know it *seems* like you'll have a lot of free time compared to VCE, but you'll wonder where all your time disappears to once you start semester. Don't underestimate how much private study you'll need to do. This is especially true in first year because you'll have no idea how to actually study yet; the learning style is different to VCE and it's normal to need an adjustment period. If you don't plan on working much, you should find a uni club, sport, volunteer position or hobby to put some time into, so you've got something aside from uni to look forward to.
