2015 Final Folio Ideas

I feel as though as there isn't much content on here for vis com (in comparison).. So i hope I can get a few replies for this.

I thought I'd start up a forum on some final folio ideas because I know I struggle with coming up with ideas so surely someone else would benefit from this as well.

Here are some ideas which I had:

• Interior design for a personal library
• Tea bag design (not sure if people have noticed but you can get pretty dang creative with it)
• Movie poster
• Clothing tag and shopping bag
• Food packaging (even though it's been done too many times)

I also wanted to know if I could do something like character design, say for an anime or kids show. I haven't seen anything on character design around so I thought it might be something different (and easy, lol) to do.
Also, would doing something like designing a pedestrian bridge be really hard and time consuming to do?

The Nelson Psychology text has a sample character design folio, if you're interested I can message you the PDF. I've been thinking about perhaps doing character design or something media branding related too, it would certainly stand out when submitting for Top Designs and in assessment.

I'm definitely interested! I'd love to see the PDF! I definitely agree that it would stand out because it isn't something that I've seen been done before but I'm not getting much response from my teacher or from anyone on here about it so I'm reluctant to go for it..

We really need to! I'm surprised more people aren't on since most people start preparing for their final folios quite early in the year..

We are one term in now.     How's everyone going with their unit 3 outcomes? Anyone certain on their brief so far?

I saw Top Designs but I personally don't think it was as high quality as last year, but still interesting to see the work required to be at the top of state!
