What are some easy maths/engineering (electrical, software or mech) related subs i could do (preferably in sem1) that will help me up my 59% average. Can be level 1/2 or 3.
Thanks :)

Isn't it 3 level 1 subjects the maximum from any single area of study? I don't think they'll allow you to enrol in Calc 1 if you've done Calc 2/Lin Alg, but you can choose another maths and stats subject from first year, though I think there's only stats subjects left.

I thought Vector Calculus (level 2 subject) was fairly easy. There is a lot of calculating and not much proof work, which isn't difficult either.

Risk Analysis is ridiculously easy. It's a Civil Eng core subject and a level three, but it's probably the second easiest subject I've done at Uni.

What would be the most easiest subject you've done? I'm trying to find some easy breadths to do.

how is it easy if it includes words- "Assignments totalling 3000 words, due mid-semester and end of semester". LOL sorry.
Has anyone done https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/BMEN30006 . If so, how was it :)

Written assignments aren't necessarily worse than exams, they're just different. I don't know why everyone's so scared of them :(

written assignments brings out the ocd in me- It takes me a full day to edit and re-edit and re-edit a paragraph again and again and again. If i was to "do well" in one of these subs i would have to do it with no other subjects taken concurrently.

If you enjoyed digital systems and physics 2, then you might like ELEN20005. It doesn't seems too hard.

This. While I haven't done it, I have quite a few friends who all say it would be the easiest second year maths subject to do well in.

Aside from that, if you have any first year breadths left, first year micro economics is pretty easy for a mathematically minded person.
