Living on campus

I posted this topic on the Other Universities board but I don't think many people pay attention to it.

I'm considering moving interstate to a JD in Sydney. Could anyone share their experiences what it's like living on campus? I'd definitely classify myself as an introvert who enjoys their alone time, but I'm willing to get involved in social activities.

Has has anyone live in accommodation that was self-catered? Was is it liveable? Or would you recommend paying the extra $200 for catered accommodation?

Also, what kinds of financial support can I receive?
