BComm/LLB 3rd Year Units

I'd like some advice on 3rd year units. Currently I have:

First semester:
ACC3230: Financial analysis and valuation
BFC3140: Advanced corporate finance
BFC3170: Management of financial intermediaries
LAW2201: Torts A

Second semester:
BFC3340: Options, financial futures and other derivatives
BFC3540: Modelling in finance
ETC3440: Introductory econometrics
LAW2202: Torts B

I'm majoring in finance. So far, I've done 6 law units (4 first year, 2 second year). Any comments and advice on my units?

I take it you did crim in 2nd year, then? You could do Property & Torts this year (i.e. 2 commerce units instead of 3) or take an elective alongside Torts A and/or B. I just put this out there because otherwise you may end up with, say, two straight years of straight law units, which can be a fairly heavy workload. Then again, you can kind of get around the excess-law problem by staying on for a sixth year, or even do summer law units in addition.

That said, it's not like you're taking the easier commerce subjects or anything. Financial analysis and valuation is an interesting unit, probably a good one to go for if you're considering something like IB. Haven't done those other electives, but I hear that they are both quite practically useful (albeit Options is tough).
